Gillette Castle - 3/31/07
Gillette Castle is located in East Haddam, CT, just about 30 minutes north of where we were staying in Old Lyme.
Built between 1914-1919 by William Hooker Gillette, noted actor, director, and playwright.
What an amazing place! We did not get to tour the interior as it does not open until late May,
but the stone work and the view down the river were both spectacular.
